HellRaisers roster down to two as three players become free agents
CMD368 – After a host of changes to their roster this year, it seemed as though HellRaisers had finally settled on a full roster – but today the team have announced a huge roster change which sees only two players remaining on the active roster.
In January of this year, HellRaisers confirmed that they had picked up a new roster after a little over a month without a squad. However, it quickly became apparent that the team were having problems as players joined and left constantly – but in October, it seemed that they had sorted out their problems as both Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk and Rinat “KingR” Abdulin joined the team, making it a full roster. That all changed today as the team announced via their Twitter account that three players would be leaving the roster, becoming free agents.

In their post, HR confirmed that both Arslan “xannii” Shandjanov and Gleb “Funn1k” Lipatnikov as well as KingR would leaving the roster to become a free agent, with transfers on the three players now open. This leaves only two players remaining which are:
- Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk
- Alexander “Nix” Levin
While the post also states that the roster has “disbanded” it seems as though they will move forward, attempting to rebuild around their two remaining members. Currently HellRaisers do not have any tournaments lined up, but it is possible that we see them returning later this year with new players. We will keep you up to date on any and all information that comes out from the team’s organisation in the coming weeks left in 2020.
