KuroKy will not be joining Nigma for OMEGA League
CMD368 – After missing the OGA Dota PIT Season 2 Europe/CIS event, it seems as though Team Nigma captain and position five support, Kuro Salehi ‘KuroKy’ Takhasomi will also miss the upcoming OMEGA League: EU Immortal Division event too.
Shortly before OGA Dota PIT Season2 EU/CIS got underway, Nigma confirmed via their Twitter account that KuroKy would be missing the event and a stand-in would be required. The reasoning behind the captain’s inability to participate was said to be due to an arm injury for which he was receiving physical therapy. Unfortunately, it seems that this injury is still afflicting the famed player as the team have now confirmed that Kuro will not play at the upcoming OMEGA League event either.

Roman ‘rmN-‘ Paley, coach of Nigma, took Kuro’s place at the OGA Dota PIT event, helping the team to reach the grand final where the team almost suffered a reverse sweep by Alliance. However, with their stand-in, Nigma managed to solidify and claim game five of the series to be crowned champions of the event. Considering that being the case, it is highly likely that rmN will return to a stand-in role as the team have a little over two days before the OMEGA League group stages get underway.
OMEGA League: EU Immortal Division kicks off with its group stage on August 14th, 2020, but with Nigma currently not having a series on the first three days, according to the current schedule. However, it is possible that this will change in the coming days, with day two currently only having two series listed. It will be interesting to see if Nigma will be able to stand strong as they did at the OGA Dota PIT event, with the likes of Evil Geniuses and Virtus.pro being in their group and Team Secret and OG also being a part of the event.
